Lurir Short

$0.99

Lurir is a wolf in need of a pack. But his charges may get him killed. Or worse, drive him insane.

Weird shiny scales? Check.

Humongous serpentine body? Breezes, yes.

Teeth like stalactites? Yep.

Lurir, a mundane gray wolf without a pack, had never seen a lizard that big before. The two-leggers called it a dragon, but it's a lizard. And it just flew off with his two-legged friends. Now, he's left with two rambunctious bear cubs, and they're hungry. Not only does he have to figure out what they eat, but where and how to get it. And being the only surviving wolf of the harpy attack in that strange other forest, he must avoid the resident wolves while in their territory or risk his life and those of his charges. Outsiders are always the enemy.

But when a great cat threatens Lurir and his cubs, there is no one else to help him. Will the resident pack answer his howl for aid?

While this short story happens between Eldrake and Eldrakar in the Adradis Rising series, it is safe for all ages and can be read as a standalone short story. It is a good read for children, but make sure you read it over first, as there is some violence, and it may not be suitable for more sensitive kids or the younger ones. 💜

Note: This is unadulterated fluff. Just for funsies. Hope you enjoy!
