Thanks for accompanying me on this journey! I'm Devon Vesper, writing M/M Fantasy Romances—that’s fantasy with gay male protagonists. With parts of the world devolving into an epic mess, my writing offers an immersive, intense, and fun escape from reality. Expect lots of heart-rending feels with your soul-bonding and adventure in your awesome reads!
What You Can Expect
I want you to feel seen and heard. Occasionally, I'll have community polls, some for followers and above and some exclusive to the tiers. We'll also have community chats where we hang out. Most of all, I hope we all have fun.
Every paid tier gets the same thing. If your tier did not get something another tier got besides the different coupons, please bring it up to me, as I may have mis-clicked something in the back end. If I choose to post something to specific tiers, it’s probably something price-prohibitive for lower tiers and can’t be helped. I hope you understand.

Q: Why are there so many books with mental health themes?
A: Neurodivergent people and those dealing with trauma and other mental distress deserve the right to see themselves in literature, too. Diversity isn’t just about skin color and with whom someone shares physical and/or emotional intimacy.
It’s also a way for me to work through my own trauma—by making you read it. You’re welcome. 💜
Q: What things can I expect from your books?
A: Here's a rundown of common things throughout all my books. I write MM Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romances with hot men kissing and doing naughty, filthy things to each other between battles. They include:
- Hot men who can’t keep their hands off each other
- Soulbonding/Fated mates
- Fantastical elements
- Romantic elements
- Age gap
- Insta-love/insta-lust
- Characters with mental/emotional trauma and their healing journey
- Hands-on friendships—my characters are very platonically touchy-feely. When they’re lovers, it’s “worse."
- In an ideal world, people wouldn’t be touch-starved. Men wouldn’t be bullied into not showing emotion for fear of being called feminine, female-related slurs, mama’s boys, and other derogatory nonsense. My worlds are often like this. Men are allowed and encouraged to show emotion, and hands-on friends are the norm.
- Found family
- Loving birth/blood familiesÂ
- Occasional disturbing imagery, characters, or violence
- At least one redemption- and one revenge-themed scene per book (for most books)

Subscription Stuff
Q: Why not other subscription models like Patreon, Ko-fi, or Ream?
A: I was on Ream for a while, but after some rather nasty drama, I firmly avoid it now. I was also on Patreon for a while, but I found a host that lets me have everything in one place, which helps my brain a lot.
I don’t have the time or mental resources to spend time on a slew of social media channels, so the subscription area is where I will be spending the majority of my time when I'm at my desk. I'd rather spend my time connecting with people rather than posting into the void and praying you see it sometime within the next month. I'm looking at you, Facebook.
Q: What are the benefits of supporting an author through their subscription?
A: We can build a strong community to hang out and have fun. Plus, I offer early access to all books before the newsletter, social media, or Amazon get hold of them. Best yet, this is the best way to support me directly, besides buying books on my website, so I can keep giving you the stories you love!

Shipping Stuff
Q: Why must I add my real name and address when signing up?
A: I might offer occasional free snail mail in the future and need your address, which I get when you join a tier, to send them to you.
Q: Can readers outside of the United States still get physical items from tiers?
A: Not at the moment. Physical items are available only in the USA due to the European Union’s General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requirements and the tariff mess.
However, if the physical item is a book, I may have you buy the paperback from the retailer of your choice in your country and have me mail you a signed bookplate in a greeting card, or email it to you to print yourself if that's a better option for you.
As of this writing (March 5, 2025), due to the GPSR, there are new shipping regulations regarding mail moving from the USA to European countries. So far, this is the list of countries affected:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Republic of, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
As so many countries are affected (and at the time of this edit, the tariff battles are insane), I'm refraining from offering physical items until further notice.
Bookplates are not included in this list. For paid tiers, they can and will be mailed worldwide. Just ask, tell me how many you want, and give me your address if I ask for it. (I have trouble finding things on my disaster desk. Don’t ask me to find things in a subscription dashboard. I may implode. …Kidding. Or am I? 🤔🤫) I’ll get it done eventually. Just occasionally remind me if I don’t give you a send date confirmation. Chronic illness sometimes makes me forgetful.
Boycott Stuff
Q: Are you boycotting those companies who are rolling/have rolled back their DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) policies?
A: Yes. Starting February 23, 2025, due to many companies purging their DEI policies, I am removing my books from Kindle Unlimited.
What does that mean for you?
You can buy from my website and download my books from BookFunnel to own after the sale rather than having them wirelessly delivered to your eReader or app with only leasing rights. With Amazon, you do not own any ebooks bought—they only give you leasing rights and can take them back without warning.
Or you can purchase from another retailer and receive the eBook from that retailer in whatever form that retailer allows.
As I said, if you buy directly from me, you own your copy. You can back it up and keep it forever. Just please do not share it. If you want your friend to enjoy the awesomeness, please consider giving them a link to the sale page instead. Thank you!
If you lose an eBook you bought from my site, come to me with the name and email you used and what you bought. I’ll do some behind-the-scenes magic. No matter what, you won’t lose access to any of my books you have legitimately purchased through my site, retailers such as Kobo and Google Play, or received from me through subscriptions, ARCs, promotions, or group sales.
Q: What happens if Amazon deletes my library or I lose my Amazon account?
A: Contact me. We will work things out. If you have receipts, that’s even better. But contact me. I will always do my best to work with you. So will many other authors. For most, a polite email is all you need to recover books bought through and deleted by Amazon.
