His father needs his life force. His corrupt uncle would enslave him. Can he trust in the kindness of strangers, or is he walking into certain death?

All abused farm boy Valis Bakor has ever wanted is to be safe and loved. So when two holy warriors offer him sanctuary from his evil family, he makes the difficult decision to abandon all he’s ever known. But in a world infected by followers of an evil god, he fears the protection they offer is just an illusion.

Dogged by his lecherous uncle as they travel to the monastery far away, Valis has no way of knowing if the bonded warriors mean what they say. He wants to believe they could be the fathers he’s never dared pray for. But after his sire tried to slaughter him for power, Valis knows better than to believe in love.

Valis must overcome his fears and learn to trust himself if they’re all to survive. If he can, a lifetime of safety and acceptance could await him at the end of the perilous journey. But will he die trying?

Saviors is the first book in the completed God Jars Saga, a rich world full of destiny, violence, and love. Join Valis and his found family in their sweeping epic fantasy adventure today!

Author’s note: Saviors is an epic fantasy with romantic elements where the romance does not begin until book two, with no sex until book four. It is an epically slow-burn romance spread out across books 2-6. This installment has no sexual contact between the three MCs other than voyeurism driven by virgin curiosity expressed by a sheltered young adult. The Aesriphos are never a love interest in this book or those after.

Also, please keep in mind that touch starvation is a real and serious trauma response that Valis suffers from, as well as PTSD. This is also a world where things like toxic masculinity and “real man” syndrome don’t exist. In this world, men are allowed to have and openly express deep emotion and seek out or offer a touch to comfort and show platonic affection.

I hope you enjoy!
